Monsoons at Two Chimneys, Nainital

Ah, the mists – it drifts in and out of the house, envelopes it densely at times and plays hide and seek amidst the lush greenery. Thunder clouds, large rolling balls of them, tumble down the mountains and break into delightful ecstasy as sheets of water bounce off the earth to run off, just too soon, down the mountainsides. Every inch of land is covered in verdant greenery. Every now and then when the sun bursts forth the chirping birds create a chorus as they rush about busily pecking the abundant mites the rains bring out in the undergrowth. It’s cold enough to have to wear a cardign!

We are located strategically away from the clutter of the Nainital city and at the same time very accessible from the things-to-see.
